On the right side of Day 5, I have printed out an email exchange between my sister, Dad and myself.
I LOVE that I have this captured.
It's everyday technology and communication. It's my sister teasing me and Dad being a bit confounded. It is just, totally, us.
Sorry the colours are a bit off - that is white cardstock.
For the right side of Day 6, inspired by pinterest, I created some word art.
Here it is in the spread. The left page, which I've posted earlier, uses photos from when I was a kid in an Ali Edwards template. Flipping through my DD from last year I discovered a page in that album titled 'Christmas Past', telling a story from when we were kids. This is definitely something I want to continue in future DDs.
I'm pretty sure this is the left side of Day 9. (Don't have my album with me at the moment to check.) I have sewn on a few pages this year so far, mainly because the sewing machine is out and accessible. Sewing on this one gave me so much hassle though - reminder to self, if you used adhesive on the edge of the page, don't later decide to sew it!
And this is the right side of Day 10. An easy page - full photo, some phrase stickers and little chipboard star.
On the left is a divided page protector. I will add the details of this story - Nicole coming over and decided to watch a Christmas movie instead of braving the weather at Carols - into one of those pockets.
On the my list for today (apart from actually writing a list because I want to include that in my album for today's entry as I have so many weird and wonderful things flying round in my head!) is editing and printing photos for a bunch of pages. Fingers crossed I get that done.
