I had a wonderful Easter long weekend. There was our traditional family fish'n'chip lunch on Good Friday then my sister and I went clothes shopping on Saturday. I spent WAY too much money but got some pieces I absolutely adore and had a great time. After, my guy and I headed into the city for dinner and then a comedy show. On Sunday I spent a lazy day scrapbooking and blogging before heading to Mum and Dad's for a roast dinner. And on Monday I went to my first football game of the year - resulting in a 2 point win and lots of cheering.
Did you notice that reference I just slipped in there? He is kind of new. :)
Anyway, I love that I have these details recorded in my A Year of Weekends mini. It's the perfect place to capture little snippets and photos of my weekend. I think it will be amazing to look back on at the end of the year (and later) and be reminded of all that I have done.
Although I have posted the pages of Weekend 14, don't be tricked into thinking I'm basically up to date. :) There are quite a few weekends still to be completed. But, after spending time on it in the last few days, I am less behind than I was before.
Working on these pages did remind me though, of how quickly I forget. I need to troll though text messages and check out dates on photos to be reminded of what I did on Weekend 6, 7, 8...!
