Day 17 - I think these are some of my favourite pages yet. It just feels like they came together really well.
This page uses word art by Ali Edwards which I repeated and printed onto vellum. I added extra elements I had from the Christmas cards I made.
Oh my gosh, I just noticed that teal 's' chipboard letter sitting on the lower right of the photo. It's just fallen off another page I'm still working on but I managed to take, edit and upload the photos without seeing it there!
For this page I cut 'twinkle' in the photo using my Silhouette Cameo and backed it with silver glitter paper from American Crafts. The little envelope is also cut with the Cameo.
I want to add my family Christmas letter between these two pages. I sewed an envelope from glitter paper and added it in, but it's VERY bright. Back to the drawing board to think about that one.
As it is February 1st, A Month of Faces begins today. I'm nervous! But my camera battery is charged and I've warned Boyf he is my portrait subject for today. ;) Because we don't seem to make anything easy for ourselves - Boyf is in the midst of pulling up the carpet and painting all the trim at his house and I'm also trying to make the bookings for our trip - we are leaving tonight to go camping for the weekend. Although I'm not sure how successful I will be getting my Faces photos posted, it does give me a couple of captive subjects. ;)
