My December Daily album is complete! It only took me 6 months. ;)
Being spoilt was a bit of theme this Christmas between Boyf and I, so I wanted to include this in the album. I used my Silhouette to cut words out of white cardstock then sprayed on gold mist. This page was actually created months ago and caused some difficulties when I was sorting out the surrounding days. It ended up being a bit of an extra, not quite day 28 or day 29.
I love including a photo of the presents I receive. I think it will be great to look back on - to see what was popular, what I was interested in, how long I've owned something. Among the presents I received was an Instax camera from my sister, hence the photo of photos. To me that seems quirky and I love that the album doesn't take itself too seriously. ;)
And here's the spread.
Day 29: This is a very word heavy page, but I think it's one of my favourites. (Although I think about half the album counts as favourites!) It's not Christmas or holiday related at all but the page captures a real slice of my life, just at that moment in time.
And the spread.
Day 25: And finally the last page completed, finished just this morning. Too often my journaling feels like who, why and what, but here I've managed to include lovely details and stories from our Christmas Day. It already makes me smile to read this page.
Here's the spread. Christmas Day covers a number of pages so I put the journaling page right in the middle of them.
And with that, my December Daily 2012 album is complete. Ok, I haven't put anything on the cover and I need to find an actually copy of the family Christmas letter to slip into a pocket. I know it's around here somewhere! But who cares about that.
After months of work, a total of 76 single pages are finished - I just counted - and that's cause for celebration!
You can find all my December Daily pages linked here and tomorrow I'm planning to share a video flip though the album, along with some thoughts on the process and favourite products.
I really do love this album. December Daily rocks!
