Day 26: For the left side of the page I simply added a little embellishment to some packaging from a doona cover I bought that day. Here in Melbourne Boxing Day is about the sales! (Or the cricket.)
On the right side I have owned up to being trounced in a Monopoly Challenge and adapted who, what and where to journal about shopping with my Mum. I printed the journaling on vellum, layering a diecute shape under the vellum and letter stickers and embellishment over the top.
Day 27: I really liked that patterned paper and was pleased to be able to use a decent sized chunk of it. The journaling block is an example of one of the scrapbooking mistakes that frustrate me the most - leaving space at the start of the journaling and running out of room at the end. Oih!
And here's the spread. Sorry for the lousy photos, we're officially in winter here now and I'm fighting the light. I must say, it being dark by the time I get home from work really doesn't me blog!
