Day 2: Mike and I went into the city for a celebratory dinner at a favourite Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious! Not pictured, the melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake with port jam that we had for dessert.
Left side: I used the restaurant business card to give me the width for a column of photos. That dark woodgrain paper is definitely a favourite of mine.
Right side: The only photos I took of the two of us were on my iPhone, a little grainy and not great quality. So, I decided to print the photo on vellum. The result is almost a watercolour effect; quite pleased with how it turned out. The number piece - stamped and embossed two on patterned paper - isn't what I would have chosen for this spread but I'd premade that number so just went with it. I'll probably add a little stitching at the top when I decide what will go on the back.
I'm having trouble remembering it's already the 9th of December - where did the last week disappear to?!
