December 4: A regular Wednesday when nothing particular happened, so I decided to write about not feeling Christmassy.
Left: I added a red envelope with Basic Grey attach-me sticker, slipping a copy of our family Christmas letter inside. Mum writes the letter each year and I help out with editorial review.
Right: A no-photo page with a stamped sentiment and journaling on label. The two confetti pockets still need to be stitched closed, but I'm currently fighting with my sewing machine.
Journaling reads: No Christmas decorations out, no plans to get a Christmas tree and don't even mention Christmas presents. I know it's still early but I hope my Christmas spirit arrives soon!
December 5: The day the Christmasifying of our house began.
Left: Two photos with a little embellishment and a simple title card.
Right: I used an Ali Edward's template to house a large photo of my nativity scene and some journaling.
Journaling reads: Unpacking the Christmas boxes. Yep, all of them. Christmas looks a little different with Mike. Oih!
As I headed into work this morning for the last day of work for the year, I just felt amazed that we're already at the 23rd. Where on earth has the month gone? I know we often talk about time flying, but I'm feeling kind of stunned. I blinked and Christmas is almost over!
