Given that Mike and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary yesterday, it seemed the perfect time to share some photos from our wedding day. Prepare to be inundated. ;)

I spent the eve of our wedding at my parents' house, along with my sister Jenna, I remember waking to hear Jenna in the kitchen, asking Dad if she could wake me up yet. After taking a few more minutes to myself, I had a relaxing start to the morning eating vegemite toast out on the verandah.
I wore these horseshoes on my arm during the ceremony. The one of the left was my something old - a horseshoe that my Nanna (Mum's Mum) received at her wedding. The one of the right was made by Nanna, put aside specially for me before she died.
With a veil to wear just for the ceremony, Jenna received instructions from the hairdresser.
Jenna had been asking if it was time to put on her dress for over an hour before I agreed.
It was only after we worked out how to attach the boutonniere that we discovered the handy instructions provided by the florist.
My first look at myself, all dressed up.
This is the hug that left a lovely makeup smear on the shoulder of my dress. Jenna noticed it and with an ultra calm tone of voice, 'I don't want you getting upset but...' A combination of water, soda water and makeup remover got it out without harm.
