December 2: A morning massage appointment, a visit to the obstetrician, another day off work sick. I've been battling a cough for two weeks now; the obstetrician jokingly asked where my immunity has gone and I don't know but I want it back! But it was an after dinner walk with Mike for icecream and to see a nearby house ALL decked out in lights, an annual tradition for us, that made my album.
The papers and journaling card are from the December Daily mini kit. I added gold foil for a paint-dipped look and inked the wood veneer stars in gold too.
December 3: Today was my work Christmas lunch at the Carlton United Brewery, which included a surprisingly interesting tour of the factory. I was thinking of combining events under the topic of feasting, but this friends' Christmas lunch that happened the weekend before was more important to me, and had better photos.
These pages were created using three different templates from Ali Edwards; all December Daily collections from past years. I hadn't intended to include the photo on the left as a full sized page but when I dropped the horizontal photo into the template that's pretty much how it landed and I thought it looked pretty wonderful. (Beautiful table setting by Di!)
Journaling reads: Our 3rd annual Christmas lunch. I glazed a ham and we celebrated the upcoming arrival of Baby Solum. With 4 of us pregnant, ranging from 16 to 33 weeks, next year's celebration will be somewhat different!
