While I spent the night at my parents' house, Mike was joined by his Best Man Ben. My morning was scheduled with makeup, hairdresser and flower delivery, the guys had it a bit more relaxed. They did have one specific task - setting up tables and chairs for our afternoon tea in a nearby nature reserve.
I couldn't resist letterpress invitations. All designed by my sister. :)
A wedding present from Ben - to be opened on the occasion of our 20th wedding anniversary.
Sage green was definitely not a colour on trend that season. We searched all the menswear shops in Emporium, I think this was literally the last possible option, before I found these ties. This was, of course, just a few days before the wedding.
When Mike learnt that the photographer would be taking some photos of them 'getting ready' too, this was what he was most excited about. Racing the remote control cars in our backyard.
That was the car he'd hoped would be ready for the wedding. Umm...not quite. (Currently looking a lot better, but the goal of completion before our first wedding anniversary...not quite.)

I'll leave you with this final photo of Mike all dressed up in his wedding finery. The Facebook caption read, 'This is how real men pass the time before their wedding...'
