As the month comes to a close, I realised there was one room in my house I hadn't shown.
I couldn't resist! Even though it's incredibly difficult to get an interesting (not creepy or gross) photo of a toilet. :)
And with that, A Month at Home is complete. 29 days, 29 photos of my home. Done.
Go me!

I'll admit it - I had trouble coming up with something to photography today. I'm glad there is only one more day left!
These photo frames (which I must print photos for) and candle are sitting on top of my microwave in the kitchen. And for the record, the candle is further away from the curtains than it appears and I didn't leave it unattended. :)

In between taking all these photos of Yellow House, I've been bringing order to the chaos of my scrap room. Slowly. :)
Now that I can find most things, I've even began to work on my A Year of Weekends mini again.
And I'm quite proud of this Silhouette cut. :)
I turned a photo of a wall decal into a cut file. It was quite easy to do and I'll be using it on a divided page protector layout about moving.
The same process could be used to cut out silhouettes of pretty much anything - you just need good contrast between the object and the background. I can imagine faces in profile, the shape of people in a group photo, pregnant bellies...Lots of possibilities. :)

It's been a rainy miserable day so coming home from work and curling up on the couch with a book sounded ideal.
I do love this perspective of looking down. Such an easy way to get a different view.

This afternoon I reclaimed my table - finally clearing it of stuff. (Photographed here on Day 11.) Much of the stuff still doesn't have an official home, but at least it's off the table! :)

It's 10:30pm and I've just got back from a trip to the beach with friends. Great day but gosh I'm tired now.
As we drove home I brainstormed a few ideas for today's photo and, thankfully, this one worked out. Now I think it's time for bed. :)

I have a lot of frames. A LOT. There are more not pictured here. And don't forget my collection of masks, some decorative plates, Ds... Problem is, I can't decide how and where I want to hang things! Decisions, decisions.

After yesterday's less than stellar effort - I didn't take a photo until returning from my parents' house after 10pm and wasn't really feeling it - today I came up with one of my favourites of the month.
I think this is more what I was thinking when I imagined the project - exploring my new house with different angles, perspectives and details. Actually taken from under my scrapbooking table (and showing my new rug) this is a view I don't normally see. :)
With a week to go - I'm getting there! - it's nice to be reminded of my goals and intentions.

The least used room in my house. Lacking an important element - a washing machine - the freshly washed clothes came via my Mum and Dad's house. :)
