Two weeks before my 30th birthday I finally completed one of my easiest, and prettiest, 30 before 30 tasks:
20. Fill my home with fresh flowers.
Why on earth did I wait so long? One trip to the market, $30 and five bunches later I had smile-inducing flowers in almost every room.
These roses, now sitting on my bedroom dresser, are just loosing their pretty now - almost 4 weeks later.
I didn't even have enough vases and needed to put a glass storage jar, jug and ceramic mug into service.
This was such a lovely splurge - seeming bright and cheery arrangements everywhere. Definitely a reminder to treat myself to flowers more often. Probably not five bunches though, that's a tad too wonderfully excessive!
