I loved this lots-o-hearts card by Lisa Dickinson and used it as the inspiration for this birthday card. I cut the hearts with my Silhouette Cameo then attaching with pop-dots for dimension. I used a variety of patterned paper scraps, stamped the sentiment and finished off with a wood veneer piece.
We celebrated Julie's birthday with dinner at a local Chinese restaurant. My cutie niece was enchanted (distracted) with the fish tank and she ended up sitting in my lap while I fed her rice with chopsticks. My chopsticks skills leave a lot to be desired at the best of times and with facing away from me, it was a matter of trying to get rice in the general position and waiting for her to swoop. Thankfully, no one lost an eye. ;)
Happy Birthday Julie!
