I seem to be bouncing from project to project at the moment, and not really finishing any of them. So I'm posting them here in an attempt to guilt myself into getting them done, or at least some of them!
This page is almost complete, really just waiting on some journaling and that's already written up in rough form. But, it's been waiting for months!
I started this page recently but it's stalled. Actually, I haven't really done any playing with paper in the last week or so - quite unusual for me. I love that photo of Mum and I though.
Back in April I took part in Ali Edward's Week in the Life project, documenting my week with photos and words. Monday through to Thursday is complete but Friday, Saturday and Sunday are still waiting for journaling cards to be added and a few final photos stuck down. It is so little compared to what I have already done, and this is probably the project that is most in the back of my mind (and taking up space on my desk), but still it remains unfinished.
This project is the biggest of the scrapbooking lot - my India album. I have completed a few pages but the VAST majority remains undone. I don't really mind that, but I would like it to do moving forward, however slowly.
I don't have any photos of my other big project as it is currently living at my parents home but I'm hoping it looks a little like this one by Susan Weinroth which was the inspiration. I am making a quilt, my first one from scratch, just by me. It's going to go on my bed in summer, so I still have a few months to get it done, and is in lovely green, blue and grey patterns.
And last night I started this, a cross stitch that I bought at the Craft and Quilt Show.
I may not have got far yet (give me a chance!) but I can't wait to get this one done. I haven't cross stitched in years but when I saw it on a stall at the Show it was calling to me. The shop lady made me promise to have it done by this Christmas and I think that's a promise I'll be happy to keep.
Lastly, although not technically a project I couldn't not include a photo of this fabric. Despite seeing many gorgeous fabrics at the show, this one I couldn't leave without. I'm not certain what it will end up being but cushion seems to be front-runner at the moment.
So there you have it, my unfinished projects. These are the ones that I write down on my to do list again and again but haven't crossed off. I've shared it now though so feel free to guilt away.
